paging all experienced clomid users...
I am sooooo clueless. So I went for my CD2 testing (could not go on CD3, dr said it was fine) and just got the go-ahead to start clomid tomorrow on CD3. Is it better to take in the morning or at night? Any major side effects that you have noticed? I have read up on some of them, one being blurred vision.
I did not even know if i would be taking it, the sono tech saw a very small cyst - she did think it would be fine and I guess it was since they told me to take the clomid. After that, sono on CD10.
Thanks so much....

Re: paging all experienced clomid users...
I always take it in the evening before bed (and actually, my RE suggested this as well).
As far as side effects go, usually I get hot flashes for 3 or 4 days starting around CD6. They are annoying but tolerable.

I took it at night before I went to bed. i experienced some hot flashes (blushing ) and some floaters but not exactly blurred vision. I have to say I was a bit hormonal (I was very "weepy")

Re: paging all experienced clomid users...
I didn't have any side effects except the hot flashes and that was only after the first month. I did take it at night because it tends to minimize the hot flashes.

Re: paging all experienced clomid users...
I also experienced hot flashes. I did it for 3 cycles and when I switched to injectibles I noticed a change in my mood. I didn't think about it while on clomid, just thought it was all the stress, but I was very sensitive and would cry very easy. that could just be me, but I definitely feel better not taking it.

Re: paging all experienced clomid users...
Well, I took my last pill last night. I took it right before going to bed. The first day taking it was horrible, I had hot flashes, blurry vision and mood swings. The second day was a lot better after day 2 all the symptoms were gone.

Re: paging all experienced clomid users...
Sorry for crashing but I took Clomid many times and will say that I too had the itching, but worse than that I had really wicked mood swings! Warn your DH just incase.

Re: paging all experienced clomid users...
I always took it right before bed because I found the first time around that it made me a crazy woman. I literally became nuts. So when I took it at bed time, I had no real side effects.

I figured I'd do the same so at least I know I'm safe in bed when the side effects hit!!
