Pain
Did anyone NOT have an epidural? (And not because there wasn't enough time or because you had a section instead.) I'm talking about truly did not opt for an epidural and went through the birth without having one.

Re: Pain
I got through the labor and was pushing with Emma before I had the C/S. It hurt but if I had the option I would not get the epi again.

Re: Pain
I had one but it didn't work. They had me on my side since Jack's heartrate was irratic, so it number my whole leg and not my pelvic area.
To be brutally honest, it was really hard. It felt like a severe burning sensation and just a huge amount of pressure. But then the second they are born, it goes away!

Re: Pain
I am not planning on having one. I have planned for a natural birth. I am using a midwife as well as a doula and hopefully have enough options in place to labor to get through it.
