Pain in lower stomach
I am 31 weeks--woke up this AM to horrible pain, which I thought were real contractions...this is my second child.
I drank water, took a shower, pain subsided. I called the dr, nurse thinks the baby is probably moving/pressing on a nerve.
I kept my feet up today and felt okay--tired, but okay.
Now, the pain is starting again, more of a pain, not a contraction pain like this AM.
I will probably call and get monitored in the AM but was hoping for some advice in the meantime....anyone experience this? It's scary, painful and way too early. Also, I have been drinking a ton of water/milk...trying to avoid dehydration.

Re: Pain in lower stomach
same thing happened to me last night and today (notice I've ben online all day? been on the couch resting) I called the midwife on-call last night and even though I wasn't sure if they were contractions, she had me time the pains. They were 15-20 minutes apart. She said if they are more like 10 mins apart to go to L&D. Thankfully it stopped.

Re: Pain in lower stomach
Yes...I have them as well. I try to get off my feet and stay hydrated.
Now I have what feels like contractions up higher, below my ribs.
Not fun...hang in there

Oh, isn't it scary. I wonder what it is.
Hope you stay better.
