Pain in ovaries during IVF stimulation (with menopur)?
I went today (again) for blood and sono and it seems that I have lots of follicles (that's the PCOS!) and that there are quite a few that are growing!  Today, I am feeling a little discomfort in my ovary. I am assuming it's from all the stimulation and the follicles growing - correct? I am not worried about OHSS at this point because I am being monitored very closely.

I didn't stim with menopur, but I definately had discomfort in the ovary area while stimming. Just make sure you are getting enough fluids!

What CD are you on? Wait till you get really close to ER (or day after Trigger). After ER you feel so much better (hopefully you will not experience OHSS).

I am on night 7 of stims (menopur). I remember during my last IUI cycle, the discomfort/pain right after triggering - ugh!
I am really starting to feel it more as the night progresses. Almost as if my ovaries ache a bit and feel weighed down. Can I take tylenol??? Any suggestions?

Mine comes and goes so I never took any Advil or anything....I think I took a hot bath once and that helped alot (and with the stress, too!  ).

I didn't stim with menopur, and I don't have PCOS, but I definitely felt weighted down and like my ovaries were being "pulled". A little Tylenol is fine, but definitely take it easy and make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids!
