Pain under/in ribs ...
A few weeks ago I picked up a bag and got a shooting pain inthe middle/left of my ribs, I thought it was from picking up the bag, which was light.
Anyway so last night I lifted our dog went to hand him to dh and the same thing happend a super painful shooting pain in my rib (toward the center, right under my boob), to the point of tears.
I'm going to call the doctor, but I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what it could be.

I have been getting a really bad pain in my right rib lately...but I know when it is more centered (I had that in the beginning) it can be GAS PAINS  . I hope you feel better...try not to worry too much. Take a Gas X and see if that helps.

I had tremendous pain in my right rib from 7 months on. Turns out my darling daughter had her foot literally stuck in my ribs. She actually had a red mark on her leg and foot when she came out because of the friction from inside.

oh geez lol...
I stretched a bit last night and it felt better so I'm hoping it just the stretching and growing of everything in there causing the pain.

I have gotten that too in the past. It can be annoying. I think it is either gas or maybe even just pressure from the baby growing and squishing everything. Unless it is constant and you have other serious symptoms, I wouldnt worry about it. My dr. told me I am going to feel alot of unusal aches and pains b/c my insides and entire body is changing.
