Painful contractions ALL day!
Okay, I'm only 34 weeks. I feel like I shouldn't be getting contractions so much.
But today I went with my sister to do her registry. We were at Buy Buy Baby from about 1-3, and then from BRU from about 3:30-5:30. I was on my feet all day long, and I was getting contractions CONSTANTLY. I didn't really time how far apart they were, but a few times I counted mississippis and they lasted for like 40-50 seconds.
Plus they were pretty crampy/painful, both in my abdomen and back.
I told my doc on Monday about having contractions over the weekend (that's when they started) and he said it's normal and it's my body preparing itself and not to worry, but today it seriously worried me.
Is it normal to be having painful ones this early on?

I go to see the nutritionist and midwife for my GD tomorrow so I am going to mention it to them. My doctor just seemed so "whatever" about it when I told him on monday that I didn't think I needed to call him today.

Keep tracking them and if you still are having concerns...call your dr.
