Paint color for 50s pink & black bathroom?

My parents would like to update their bathroom with a new paint color.
It's a 50s style bathroom with pink and black tiled and pink tub, vanity, etc.

I was thinking a gray color....anyone have any advice?

We had the same situation when we rented. I would just go with a light gray.

My cousin painted over the tile in one of her bathrooms until she was able to update it. I thought it looked pretty decent.

I say Grey also. In our current rental the bathroom is also pink and black but the bathroom is painted white. It looks fine but I think white is a little more maintenence.
