Paint colors for rooms with cathedral ceilings...

Hello all, I could use some ideas. My new house has two rooms with cathedral ceilings. One is the kitchen/family room, the other is the master bedroom. What colors besides beige do you think would work?? Anyone have any pictures to share???

This isn't the greatest picture and it's sideways, but we painted our living room and dining room, which are connected BM Louisburg Green (HC-113).

Ok.....I have a few options for you. Here are the "before and after" pics of our house.


BEFORE:

The previous owners had the brick orange accent wall with a mustard yellow main wall in the living room (it was a little too....uh, burger king like for me)....but to each their own.



AFTER:

We used a light grey/blue to re-paint the main walls and left the brick accent wall (as you can see, we also ripped up the carpet and put down hard
wood floors.

We did a similar thing to the first poster. We left the ceiling white and painted the walls red in our dining room.

These are the only pictures I have where you can see both the ceiling and wall, sorry the first one is blurry.

In our master, we painted the ceiling two shades lighter than the wall color
