Painting Doors

I need to paint my new 6 panel white doors. Would you paint them with a roller or large brush?

when we did ours we used a large brush.

Brush. It's easier to get into the detail work.

Make sure to always go with the grain of the wood.

i say both, I used just a brush on a few doors in my house and I kinda didnt like how they came out. You could see some of the brush strokes ( even going in the direction of the wood grain).My FIL came by one day, and used a small roller on another door and then used a brush to get into the nooks, and it made a world of difference if you ask me, appearance wise. (And it took half the time too) I am actually gonna go over the few doors in my house that i used a brush on and use a roller. JMO!

I would say both too--use the brush to get in the small spaces but use a small roller it will look nicer and will go on smoother--that is what i did

DH painted all the dark wood doors in our apartment white and he used a regular paint brush not a roller.

It did need more than one coat though.

I would say a brush and a roller, my DH sprayed ours since he has an auto body business.
