Painting Tips to share...
I plan on painting one of the bedrooms in my house, but I have never painted anything before...
Anyone have any tips / suggestions as far as how to not screw it up?

To paint a room, start with the ceiling and then paint the walls. Finish with the trim.

I agree. For trim, don't go cheap on the brushes. I use Purdy.
Also, BJ makes color samples for about $3 so you can see what it looks like in the room before you paint it. I had to paint my bathroom 2x. I have always used the samples since then.
ETA: I also always wear a mask when I paint because the fumes can make you high and not in a good way. The mask was like $8 I think.
