Painting while pregnant- Yay or Nay?

Painting while pregnant- Yay or Nay?
Can I paint some chairs if I do it outside in my yard surrounded by fresh air? My OB said no spray painting unless I used a full oxygen mask thing...but I didn't ask about regular painting.
Thoughts?

Painting while pregnant- Yay or Nay?
I was told as long as it isn't an oil based paint or primer.. he said latex is ok. I was in the middle of painting my kitchen when I got my BFP!!

I painted (latex paint) both times I was pregnant with no issue. I kept the windows open for ventilation.

I painted with zero voc latex paint at 30 weeks. My doctor had no problems with it.

We used no VOC paint. it was a little more $$ but so worth it. No smell.
Just to add I did not do the painting though, just an DH observer
