I have had a lump on the back of my neck for a while now. Years ago, I was told it was a "shotty node." I noticed recently that it is bigger & hard as a rock. I went to a Dr this morning & she is sending me to a surgeon for an evaluation.

Anyone ever have anything like this? I made the mistake of googling it & now I am in a full blown panic thinking it's lymphoma. Someone please tell me this is nothing.... Talk me off the ledge.
