Pali Karla Crib at Babies R Us?
Has anyone seen or purchased the Pali Crib (Karla) at BRU? I purchased it, although I haven't picked it up yet. I was surprised to see a Pali crib at BRU, and for $429 nonetheless. This price is less expensive than the usual price for a Pali crib.
I called the company and they claim it is the same Pali quality, they just created a special line for BRU. I asked why it was less expensive, and they said b/c it was bought in bulk.
I just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this crib. I just hope that the quality is good.

I don't see it on the BRU website, is it only in stores?
I looked on the pali website and their cribs are beautiful!! Looks like great quality. I don't see the one you mentioned (karla) on there though.

Yes, I mentioned it this to the Pali Customer Representative as well. She said it was only for the BRU stores and only available there, thats why i couldn't find it online anywhere. Its strange.

Their other cribs look gorgeous and high quality so i'm sure they made them with the same quality for BRU. They wouldn't want to ruin the Pali name i'm sure. Do they only have that one style at BRU?

And yes, that was the only style they have from Pali.

I know I read somewhere (maybe baby bargains) that Pali was making a lower end model that they were selling at some chains like BRU. I don't remember if it was rated well or not - have you checked the latest edition (not the one coming out in April 09 but the updates for 2008 that they have online?)

I did find this:

But it doesn't tell me much about the quality of the crib. There really isn't too much out there on the internet about it. I am going to get the new baby bargains book and probably won't open the crib until i read what it says. I feel like the only person in the world who bought this crib!
