Pampered chef bar pan?
I bought one of these a long time ago and never used it. DO I have to treat it w/ anything, do I need to grease it? How do you wash it? Also what is your favorite thing to cook on it? Thanks!

I cook everything on it.
You do NOT treat it with anything. Just maybe cook something greasy on it the first tme you use it. Maybe crescent rolls or something.
You do NOT use soap on it. It comes with a nylon scraper that you use with hot water. It seems gross but it doesnt ever leave flavor in it.
I seriously cook cookies, fish, meat, etc etc anything on it.

I LOVE my bar pan! I need to get the smaller one for the toaster because it's even good for stuff like that!
Don't wash it with soap -- just scrape it! It's great!

Thanks so much for the responses. Really?? Cook everything from fish to cookies and it doesn't leave flavor? OK, gotta try it. I don't think I have the scraper, I better look for that.

I have a whole bunch. FM me your addy and Ill mail you one. They are usually in the corner of the box if you still have it. Its a tan square thing LOL
The thing is the best.. nothing ever burns on it.Make cookies!!! the bottoms dont get darker than the rest of the cookie on it.
Just a side note.. usually you need to up the cooking time a tad on the stone. Cookies will take 3-5 mintues longer I have noticed.

I have pretty much all the stone wear and love them all, I have on occasion put them in the dishwasher and it doesn't taste like soap. The pie pan is the best!!!!!
