Pandora charm bracelets
I would really love to ask for this from my mother for Christmas, but just want to check something before I send her a wishlist : )
I see that on one site they are showing a new lobster clasp starter bracelet....does anyone know if this is an official Pandora bracelet?
I read reviews here before that the original bracelet is really hard to open/close...is that true?
Does anyone have a site/sites that they would recommend me purchasing fromn? Thanks!

Re: Pandora charm bracelets
I have the Pandora clasp. I think it is easy to close. It also is safer because it is really held in clasp.
Just and FYI the length of the bracelet stretches it out so measure your wrist accordingly.
I LOVE MY PANDORA!

I have the original bead clasp and it's not that hard to close. IMO it looks better with the beads once you start adding them.
I order all my beads from elisailana.com- they have free shipping and no tax.

Thanks for the site! I'm just curious why you think it looks better when you start adding beads to the original bracelet vs. the lobster clasp bracelet. I've never had one and not sure which way to go! Thanks :)

Re: Pandora charm bracelets
I would go with the regular clasp instead of the lobster claw. I leave mine on all the time so I only have to open/close it when I add beads. I think it is a much more secure clasp and blends in well with the beads.

It looks better because it blends in and looks like just another bead, instead of sticking out as a clasp. That way when your bracelet is full, the beads go all the way around without interruption.

Re: Pandora charm bracelets
Thanks so much for that, makes sense! I'm just so nervous that I won't be able to get it on and off without messing my nails up, since I won't have someone to help me put it on lol

Re: Pandora charm bracelets
They sell something that looks sort of like a clover that opens the clasp. I really don't think it is necessary though. I have NO nails and it isn't a problem.
I also agree about it looking better with the clasp than the claw for the look of it.

Re: Pandora charm bracelets
When I got mine I tried both, I didn't like the lobster clasp, it was hard to do. I think the pandora clasp is easy on/off and looks nicer

ditto.
I also want to add that you should check out Chamilia beads - I think they're more whimsical than Pandora. I prefer them over Pandora.

Don't mean to hijack...but what stores sells the charms? My cousin has one and I was thinking about buying her a charm for Christmas?

If you go to pandora-jewelry.com you can type in your zipcode and it will tell you what stores carry them.
Roosevelt Field Mall just opened a store. I go to a store in Massapequa, but I know a TON of stores carry them.

Oh how cute! But they can also go on a Pandora bracelet?

I think some Chamilia fits on Pandora but I don't think the quality is as good as Pandora. The craftsmanship of the beads isn't as good and the bracelet isn't as nice, IMO
QVC also just came out with their own version of Pandora- it's called Prergogatives. I think their quialty is similar to Pandora but i'm not sure if it fits on Pandora.

I just bought three of them - two of them fit - the other is a little big. It goes right over the screw part. I just flanked it with two beads that do screw so it's fine...
I don't have any issues with quality - I also like that it's a USA company.
