paranoia ....
I am in the 2ww and find myself not doing certain things b/c i COULD be pregnant.
I KNOW it is unhealthy to do but I am so afraid of the "what if" factor, especially since I had a m/c last time around.
I think I would have been ok if I never had the miscarriage; but I did and I feel like it "ruined" the joy and fun of it all.
I don't want to be a downer but.... I want to drink my coffee, get a massage/facial, get my manis and pedis, - all stuff I have given up/cut down for a while b/c of the mixed studies and b/c I did it "last time."
Thanks for letting me vent...

Re: paranoia ....
I hear ya, I was doing sit ups on an incline today and I was having the "what if" feeling. I'm trying my best to go with the flow. Good Luck.

Re: paranoia ....
I think you should just do you like normal until the BFP comes. I "what if'd" my self for months, now my attitude is Whatever. I cant stress the what if's. You will go insane or I did. Just think of all the things our parents and grandparents did do. Hell we are all fine. Do You and enjoy it until you cant. GL to you.

Re: paranoia ....
I know how difficult it is to miscarry and the nerves when you try again. However, I will tell you that the month I got pregnant I decided I would just enjoy myself. I knew that the stress of avoiding certain things wouldn't help and hey, I wanted my coffee for as long as I could have it!!

Re: paranoia ....
I know that feeling. Having had a chemical and been told I did nothing wrong to cause it, I can't help but wonder if I could have done something to prevent it. I also wonder how I will be able to enjoy a pregnancy when it happens.

Re: paranoia ....
I hear ya...
I always had the philosphy of "do what you've always done until you know your PG for sure" during the 2ww but now that I'm actually living it, it's TOTALLY a different story.
I do try to be as "normal" as possible. Heck, I even smoked a cigarrette the other day when we had a bomb scare at my job but for the most part I do understand your paranoia.
