Paranormal Activity - movie - nonspoiler review added

Has anyone seen this or have plans to see it?

I have heard really good things about it. That it is the scariest movie in over 10 years.

We are going to the midnight show tonight.

Update:
I added my review to the bottom.

I never heard of this so I just looked it up. Is this suppose to be along the lines of The Blair Witch Project?

Re: Paranormal Activity - movie

The trailer scared me.....I cant handle scary movies. I wouldnt sleep for days!
I also heard them talk about it on Z100 that its supposed to be "the scariest movie of the decade"

Trailer

ed: It is supposed to be along the lines of the Blair Witch Project in that it is filmed on a home video camera. From the trailer, it looks much scarier than Blair Witch IMO!!

Re: Paranormal Activity - movie

It's only in 33 screen and yesterday it made per screen $3,047, now compare that to the number one movie "Zombieland" which made $614 per screen. Isn't that like 5 times better...

So we made it to the midnight show.

All I can say is if you are easly scare and like to be scared, Go see this movie.
BUT
If you are not that easly scare
wait for the dvd to come out - fast forward to the last 15 minutes and enjoy.

for some reason, i didn't get scared but poor DH...I never saw him jump like that Chat Icon

What kind of research? Like fan reviews? or actual research on Paranormal Activity itself (not the movie)..

I saw it on Friday and agree....the last 30 minutes was the best. I don't scare easily though...I thought it was OK..not great...definitely a DVD rental for those who don't spook easily like meChat Icon The movie theatre was crazy crowded though...if you go get their early for good seats.

Re: Paranormal Activity - movie - nonspoiler review added

I don't spook easily either and I have to admit I thought the movie was based on a true story and I never screamed so loud in a movie theater before. I also had some paranormal stuff happen to me before when using the ouiji board so this movie totally spooked me out! I didn't like the ending though.

But I would definately say its a must see if you're into this kind of stuff
