Does anyone know where I can go with my DH to take a parenting preparation class? and how much it would cost? Thanks in advance.

Re: parenting class?
You can call the hospital you will deliver at and inquire. Good Sam in West Islip has a lot of parenting classes, but I don't know if you have to be registered to deliver there in order to attend.

Re: parenting class?
The hospital I am delivering at sent me a brochure.
I think it was $175 a couple for the class and they ask you to bring a baby doll.
ETA: It also includes a tour of the hospital.

Re: parenting class?
Southside Hospital has a free class that I am attending, but it's a one time thing..I was thinking of a preparation class that we would go to once a week for a few weeks or something.

Call your ob/gyn's office also
BRU has free classes for those who have registered there. You do need to pre-register for the class.
