Parenting related - where did you get your blackout shades?
Did you get them in the exact size - or did you have to cut them to fit the window?

I got them from One Step Ahead and I had to cut them.
I have VERY old windows  Not your normal size.

Home Depot. We used their guide to measuring and brought in the measurements. They cut them for us. It all worked out very well.
If you are going to do this, make sure you know how you will be mounting them and measure accordingly.
They even let us return one that was cut (that they cut incorrectly).

My husband was just there - he has no idea what he is looking for apparently - so I will go back tomorrow I think!
