Parents Gifts
I am clueless this year as to what to get my parents. I would really rather not give them gc. Does anyone have any ideas...for the house or anything. Thanks!

My Mom wants to redo her bedroom so when I was in Ireland to visit her she saw a painting that she liked so we are chipping in to get her that. I am getting her new sheets & my sister got her a new throw for her bed.

My mom is THE hardest to shop for!!!! 
I got her gold earrings and a pair of slippers
My dad is easy, I got him a really nice sweater, and a really fancy hat and scarf set

My mother is getting a digital camera and some other smaller gifts.
MIL is getting Laurie Gates dinnerware (so she can stop saying she is going to steal mine!)
FIL is getting Black and Decker power scissors (b/c of arthritis) and lots of small gifts this year.

We got Rays parents a digital camera.
I got my mom brown tall boots that she has been saying she wants but will never splurge on herself.
I also am getting her a cd boombox that plays mp3 data cds.

We often take them out to dinner. Free meal, and quality time with their kids and grandkids. Sounds like a great gift to me! :)
Also, since none of them (either side of the family) know much about electronics, I usually pick out electronic stuff for them. We're buying my in-laws a portable DVD player this year. Bought my mom a DVD player one year (and hooked it up, of course... :) )

I have no idea.....I think I will get my mom clothes. My dad is hard to buy for though.
I am going to get my SMIL a sweater she has wanted.
We aren't doing presents with DH's mom
