Parents of future high schoolers
Please do not show up at your high school guidance counselor's office at 3:15 on a Friday without an appointment demanding I change your child's schedule since she doesn't like her teacher. First of all, I already told you on the phone I am not able to do this. Second of all, I am burnt out from a week of schedule complaints. And lastly, I highly doubt that my administrator will change a student who has refused to any work since the first of the year since she didn't like her instructor.
End of rant- long day and a long week...I am

It is nonsense like that that I DO NOT miss about teaching high school... oh, now I can't wait to go back in Sept And yeah, it's never from the honor students.
