Parents please show me
your christening bibs and crosses
or anything special you had personalized for your baby's christening
DH is gonna be godfather to our new nephew and we are in charge of getting the cross and we would like something special to get also like a personalized blanket or bib or something.....any ideas would be MUCH APPRECIATED

Things remembered has some Christening stuff that you can get personalized. Either a blanket or a bib and bible cover set. I always find their stuff nice. I just looked at their site, they have a really cute jewelry box with an angel on it but obviously that wont work with a nephew. Or you could do a sterling silver boys ID bracelet with his name and a cross on it. Even if he wore it for just that day, it would be the same as the bib, the baby would only wear that for the Christening day as well. But an ID bracelet would look really cute in pics, especially if his parents will be getting some professional ones.

There is a place in tri county mall ( flea market ) that has alot of christing things that they will personalize, bibs, onsies, outfits, etc. The stuff is really nice and they do a great job!!
Also try ebay!

My sister gave us a cross (gold with a tiny diamond in the center) and a pooh bear with a blanket personalized (from my nieces), and because she insisted- the whole christening outfit!
Her daughter was born first, so I also went above and beyond..
I also agree with the post prior to mine.. Things remembered has some really cute stuff.. Any Jeweler also has ideas on personalized jewelry for boys too..
Maybe an initial baby ring? I still have my dads ring from when he was a baby.. GL!!!

This is Aidans Celtic Cross that was given to him by his Godfather and Godmother
and this was his Christening bib, not personalized or anything

I order most of Coles bibs and burp cloths from this very sweet lady in Oklahoma. This was his (but with his own monogram, obviously)
