Thanks... I want to but I think once it is time for me to go back to work it will be a pain in the butt....

I breastfed Andrew for one year. I went back to work only PT for while, so I pumped too. He never had any formula

Joseph I did 5 months exclusive, and then drove myself crazy pumping etc - finally settled on supplementing. I completely stopped at 11 months since I was TTC when he was a year.

Maddie - 3 mos exclusive ( I think), stopped completely at 8 months.

Both times I went back to work at 3mos.

I would love to do it for at least a year or until my DD weans but honestly with all I have to do as far as pumping to keep my supply up I don't know if I can keep it up that long. If I get to a point where my body sustains my milk on its own from just BFing on demand then I definitely won't stop until she is ready.

So far 6 1/2 months and I'm still BFing. I went back to work p/t in October and it's really not that bad. I don't know your situation at work, but we have a room to use to pump. You adjust to it.

Emma EBF for 2 1/2 years
Jeremy almost 10 months and still EBF

Claire is almost 11 months and still EBF. I returned to work FT at 3 months and pump BM for her when I am away

I pumped BM for one full-year for Molly. She wouldn't latch so the pump was my best friend. While it is sorta a pain I am glad that I did it and have no regrets. It can be done.

Both of y girls were BF for their 1st year, I went back to work when they were around 4 months and I pumped 2/day at work, they never had formula, now my son is almost 3 months and I will try to BF him for the 1st year as well. Pumping is easy if you have a good pump!! Good luck!!

going on 5 months now- I only supplemented 2x because I was going to be away and I had nothing stored up. But since I have to be on a retricted diet of no dairy products which is going on about a month now I dont no how long Im going to be able to keep going. I am taking on day at a time.
