Paris Travelers: Montmarte

So, we have two days in Paris and I have a rough itinerary for what we will do.

One of the things-- is spending the afternoon into evening in Montmarte.

If you have been there, and can recommend restaurants, bars, shops... that would be great!

I plan on checking out Scare Cour, the Dali museum, doing a drive by of the Moulin Rouge, etc.

Thanks!

Musee D'Orsay

Musee D'Picasso - great little museum on a side street. I was never a Picasso fan until I went to this museum. Small, but great! Its at 5, rue de Thorigny.

No restaurant reccs - I was there as a student and so ate in cheapo, not so great places.

Enjoy - I so want to go back to Paris!!!

Sorry - didn't realize you were asking specifically about Montmarte.

we were recently in Paris and spent the day at Montmarte... we did the walk up to the dome of the church which will give you spectacular views of Paris.

After that we walked through the town, very quaint, but VERY touristy and lots of people. I can't recommend someplace to eat, as there are tons of cafes, we just picked one randomly for lunch. But they all have the same thing.

From there, we walked to the Moulan Rouge... (very Chat Icon out there in your face s ex). We continued on to the Jewish quarter and by the time we got there it was dinner time, so we found this falafel stand (that's pretty well known, I'd have to look up the name when I get home) and had flalfel for dinner.
