Parking At Laguardia

Is it going to be easy to find a spot or is this place a zoo? Im trying to decide if we should drive and leave my car in long term parking or take a limo.

We take a car service, but we live in Queens, so it isn't too expensive. We figure with the cost of parking, and worrying about damage to the car while we're gone, we are better off just paying for the car. And we both get dropped off and picked up at the curb, which is nice too Chat Icon

If you do want to drive in, call and make a reservation with one of the parking places outside of the airport. LTP at LaGuardia is horrible!!!!!

LTP can sometimes be more expensive than a car service. I believe we pay $120 roundtrip for a car.

I know my DH takes a car service if he's going to be traveling for more than 4 days.

That being said, I've never had a problem finding parking at La Guardia.

What about checking out hotels by the airport? Sometimes they offer free long term parking if you stay overnight - that can sometimes be cheaper then car service plus they have shuttles to the airport.

There are tons of places around the airport that offer long term parking for the airport. They are guarded 24 hours a day and usually fenced. We made the mistake last year of just going to the airport and trying to park there. After driving around for an hour, my DH finally had to park on the street! We had to get a family member to come and pick up the truck because of alternate side parking. LT parking at LaGuardia is nothing like LT parking at Kennedy.

Re: Parking At Laguardia

LTP at Laguardia is absurd! It's $30 every 24 hrs...unless you can get into the one discount lot which is $30 for the first two 48hrs, $15 each 8-hr period thereafter.

This place seems to be more reasonable...however I don't know anything about it.

I've always found it easier to just take car service to LGA - if you're travelling for more than 4 days, it winds up being much cheaper.

Re: Parking At Laguardia

Definitely check out avistar , I have used them many times. You can make a reservation online, and print out a coupon. Very reasonable...never had any problems. The only thing is you have to take a shuttle bus from them to your terminal...so leave a little extra time for that.

Sure...I don't see why not. Just make sure you leave some extra time.
