Parking at train stations
If I park after 5 WITHOUT a permit, I WONT get a ticket, right? Or is it after 6?
I need to take a train into NY on Thrus night. We are looking at a 510 or so train. I dont want to park and get a ticket. Its at the Babylon train station

In Massapequa, you can park after 3pm in the permit parking only. It might be the same out in Babylon too. Usually after 4pm, you're fine.

Babylon will ticket you no matter what. BUT the south side parking lot (the one closest to the school) has paid parking. It's 25 cents for 2 hours I think. Each space in numbered, so all you have to do is go to a parking ticket machine, punch in the space # and then start feeding it. You'll be OK if you do that.

if u make the drive to merrick, there are no parking permits required at all.

My DH is code enforcement in Babylon Village - they will ticket you any time of day if you park in the village spaces or numbered spaces.
