I'd say neat casual. I've definitely worn jeans there and never had a problem. Though the waitstaff are all in tuxes.

One of my favorite restaurants! I would wear dressy jeans with a dressy top and heels. It's not a super casual place. HTH

I know you didn't ask this but their chicken scarpiello (boneless) is the best I have ever had anywhere. I forget what the dress code is, I haven't been in years but I used to go all the time when I was younger.
