partial refund if priority mail usps screws up? updated

mailed a package priority on Nov 30. Paid $8.70 for 2 day delivery. Tracking says its delayed, but in transit! No new arrival date! Should have been there Dec 3.

Can I get a partial refund??? would only seem fair since I didn't get what I paid for. just wondering if anyone went through this

I don’t disagree with you. That sucks. But I think the likelihood of them doing anything is low. You could try but might end up waiting in line or on the phone forever for what like $4? Just not worth it unless these were business documents or something that caused you some hardship.

I’m having a few things delayed that I ordered online and places are not guaranteeing Christmas delivery already. I think the entire system from UPs, USPS, FedEx is all slammed.

No, they don't guarantee anything with Priority Mail on time. (Although I believe they should) Also, they have been taking much longer than the 2 or 3 days.
I mailed a Priority mail envelope to Florida on Tues Dec 1. It said it should be received by Sat the 5th, which I though was pretty long. It looks like it may get delivered today, although the recipient won't know until Monday.

The only one that offers a money back guarantee is Express mail. The mail is very slow. I would only ship UPS or Fedex right now

I know you paid for priority delivery but I would never expect the usps to deliver anything on time in normal times. Let alone during a pandemic and then add on top of that the Holidays. At least it wasn't lost. That's about the most you can expect from them now.

I think it’s well know that usps is experiencing delays. If it was important I would have used ups or fed ex.

I STILL am waiting for a pcakage that was sent out on 11/27 -- says it is in transit in bethpage (I'm in Bellmore) -- I'm so bummed -- i think I need to put in a claim now.
