Party etiquette question
Help me out here- dd is almost 2 and a half and just got 2 birthday party invites from kids in her daycare. It is a small daycare- only 10 kids.
So my questions are:
Do I have to go?
Do I make dh come? Is it rude to bring 2 adults? Is he supposed to come?
How much do I spend on a gift?
One party is at the house, the other is at a place.

Re: Party etiquette question
You don't have to do anything you don't want to I would go though since your probably spends a lot of time there and it's nice to get to know other parents. Plus your DD will have fun! You don't have to bring your husband, he would probably be bored. I pretty much keep the gift limit at $20 or so for people we aren't very close to.

Re: Party etiquette question
You don't have to go. But it is a nice way to get to know the other paretnst.
We have dd party on Sunday and it's mostly her little friends with school because that's who she spends most of her time with.
We have a little more than half the class coming. (We invited all).
I brought my Mom with me to the last one because it was at Fun4all and at 9months pregnant it was too much for me to chase her around. Normally though I probably would not bring my husband.
Gifts it seems are typically from what I am seeing between 15-20.
Hope that helps.
