My boys already got. It had dum dums, a noisemaker, a small (travel size) play dough, a small twizzler, and a little puzzle.

Thank you so much for answering dolphin baby. I know I am not the only one seeing this. Why does nobody want to answer. :(

Dd is in daycare and someone did crayons and a coloring book tied with string. I thought it was very cute.

Re: Party gift bags at Nursery school
Most kids at our preschool host parties outside of school so favor bags are handed out at the birthday party. In my experience, parents who do not have a party outside of school sometimes send in goody bags to school. It is infrequent. Everyone sends in cupcakes or similar for birthdays whether they have a weekend party or not.
My older child son just started public kindergarten and got his first goodie bag from school last week. It was all candy. While DS liked the treats, I was unhappy that he got a bag full of candy. I would have preferred anything other than candy.
Things small things my kids enjoy - play doh, bouncy balls, yoyos, sticky hands thrown against the wall, etc. Party City has an entire aisle of this stuff.

Re: Party gift bags at Nursery school
Our school doesn't allow anything like this. I am surprised a school would particularly when it includes items like a lollipop.
