Is there anywhere or way I can have a small GTG..somewhere for 25-35 people for under say $600 all on a Sunday? If so WHERE?

Anywhere on LI is ok except too far east and too far west ( queens is no good)

I cannot find anything and I really want to.

I have NO ONE'S house I can do it at.

THANKS!

Re: Party HELP

Why not try renting a hall and then catering the food? You might be able to do it for that price or cheaper.

Does it have to be a dinner? Brunches are generally less expensive.

2 years ago, Britannia Yacht Club was $24.95/pp for a Friday night, catered event. We didn't bother with a DJ, we hooked up a ipod & a playlist of songs to my husband's PA system.

It's definitely worth looking into for a Sunday Brunch.

Otherwise, Knights of Columbus, Masons, etc halls & either cater or cook.

I know it's not a birthday party but I just had my son's birthday party at the Vanderbilt Plantarium. The room charge was $200, which includes 20 tickets to the planetarium show, but I'm wondering if you could have the room & have food. We were in the room that went out on to the courtyard (not a private one but it became ours because other people thought it was private).

I agree with Barb. Im sure a Brunch may fit into your budget.

Bonwitt Inn (Commack)
Nocello's (Northport)
56th Fighter Group (Rt. 110)

Those are some I can think of right now.

Not sure if Centereach is too far.
But my girlfriend had her daughter baby shower at Pollo Rico Latin Bistro on Middle Country Rd and I believe it was in your price range for the same amount of people. I know they worked with her on the menu to adjust the price per person. And the food is delicious.
Another friend is having her sons christening party there this weekend.
