party on beach?
alot of these halls im looking at are going to be  i cant see paying 2-3k for a christening maybe its just me but were looking for a house and have alot of other things to worry about paying i hate to spend that much if i have to i will but i know a few years ago when i was a sunken meadow park there was a hall type place you could rent for parties and it was nice....does anyone know anything about this or any other beaches that do it? i figured this way the kids have something to do also i duno im so overwhelmed with this partying planning already

The Pavillion at Sunken Meadow is owned by lessings. There are no prices on their pages, but it does outline their packages:
Lessing's
ETA: Under details it says the price range is from $75-$100 per person

yes its now owned by thew lessings, how about the rec centers in islip...roikonkoma pavillaion on the lake...its a lil run down though, we had and e party at the one in bohemia on rusicka way, it was really nice and theres a stage, i think its 300 to rent it...
u bring in catering, either cook yourself or hire someone...
oh oh...theres also a family-elegant affair, they have the hall and they do the catering, the hall is on sunrise hwy near safety swim i believe...u bring your own kegs of beer too which is a money saver...
food is great there!!! it cated fromt heir deli that has been around for years!!!

We've rented Pavilions at Rye Town Park, right on the water. (It's next to Playland) We love it there!!!!! If you want more info, please FM me because I know a good caterer too,
