Passover Food Question
DD usually get lunch provided to her by her daycare. Since it is a kosher school the kitchen is closed for passover so we have to send lunch. Any ideas on what to send. They can not microwave anything (their microwaves are not kosher) and no meat is allowed. Besdies Yogurt (which DD gets for breakfast) I am at a complete loss as to what to give her. She is so picky and LOVES carbs. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Passover Food Question
Maybe give her cereal for breakfast so that you can send her to day care with yogurt and fruit.

Re: Passover Food Question
Our school is kosher, and I send food in everyday... here are some ideas:
Pasta with marinara sauce w/cheese Any kind of fish (we use tilapia or salmon) mixed with sweet corn Morningstar products - they make vegetarian hotdogs and chicken fingers that really do taste like the real thing (I mix vegetarian beans with pieces of hotdog) Soy butter with toast Hummus with pita Cheese ravioli Cheese slices Bean soup
Hope that helps!

Re: Passover Food Question
I have been totally stressing out abotu thsi myself. We are now sephardic (thanks to DH) so rice is on the menu! Woo hoo! I guess i can stick to our rice cereal.
After my trip to Supersol yesterday I learned that they do have Kosher for Passover cereal (not sold at my store ), baby food and thanks to my request, they are getting Kosher for Passover yogurt.
