Passport for Toddler
What is the process for getting DD a passport. I forgot with older DD if we had to go to the regional office or can just walk into any of the designated post offices etc

You can go to the designated post ofices, we did that. Fill out the paperwork beforehand to save time.

Re: Passport for Toddler
both parents have to go at the same time to sign the papers to ensure one parent isn't trying to kidnap the kid.
my SIL and BIL just had to do this for their infant and both had to be there.

Re: Passport for Toddler
We just did this yesterday.
We went to the post office and filled out the paperwork ahead of time (got the form online). Both you and DH need to be present OR one of you can write a letter giving the other authority to obtain the passport and have it notarized. They will ask for your driver's license too.
If you need it expedited it came to $134.85 and that is with over night shipping their and back. The turnaround time for expedited service is 2-3 weeks and for regular service it is 4-6 weeks. Their is also a $25 fee for the post office. If you are getting regular service it is $60 + the $25. The $60 is only payable by check to the US Dept of State.

This is exactly what we did.
But I will say, we got it in 5 days!!!
