Re: Pasta salad?
I have been cutting up Pepper Jack cheese, mozz cheese, a little bit of roasted peppers and pepperoni with pasta and mixing it with ranch dressing - yummy!!!

I'm a big salt lover, and usually notice when something is extra salty, but I haven't noticed that. I have only personally tried the ranch on e and I ate all of it!!!! Not in one day though....

Re: Pasta salad?
I usually take whatever fresh veggies and pasta I have on hand, and a bottle of italian dressing (light if you are watching) I also make a "greek" pasta salad: feta chesse, cucumbers, red onion, olives and a bottle of Kraft's Greek Vinegrette.

Re: Pasta salad?
I went to a BBQ a few weeks ago and they used whole wheat bowtie pasta, spinach, feta, red onions, grape tomatoes halved and a lil bit of italian dressing just to hold it all together. It was SOO good.

Re: Pasta salad?
I usually take a box of spiral pasta (I like the tricolored kind), add grape tomatoes, cubes of mozzerella, and black olives. I add either Italian dressing, or any vinegrette.

I agree...Suddenly salad (bacon) is soooooo good.
Also...easy and delicious:
Boil a lb. of penne or ziti or shells (whatever medium sized pasta you like)
In the last 8 minutes of pasta boiling, throw in frozen broccoli to cook also.
Strain pasta and broccoli. Rinse under cold water to cool.
Toss in large bowl with cut up red peppers, green peppers, cubed mozzarella, roasted red peppers, black olives. Coat with balsamic dressing (I like to use the Balsamic with the Thousand Island flavor packets for Italian dressing. Substitute balsamic for red vinegar). Toss well, refrigerate for an hour and serve

Re: Pasta salad?
I saute fresh broccoli in some olive oil and add chopped garlic at the end, then toss it with cheese tortellini (add more oil if necessary but not too much), top with fresh ground pepper and grated cheese and serve chilled/cold.
