Pasta w/garlic and oil-ww friendly?
I have been wanting to finally make a pasta with garlic and oil where I can taste the garlic and oil and it's as WW friendly as possible (was going to add shrimp and veggies to it). I already know whole wheat pasta (it's all we have), but how do you get garlic and oil to taste like...garlic and oil? TIA!

Well, I think one thing is that you don't want to burn the garlic. I heat the oil, add the garlic, stir, then add that mixture to the pot of cooked and drained pasta.

Re: Pasta w/garlic and oil-ww friendly?
Ohhhh, ok, well, before I help, here's a funny story.
DH is making dinner and the recipe calls for 3 cloves of garlic. So I hear him in the kitchen and for about 20 minutes, I hear that crispy sound that garlic makes. So I go in and see what he's doing. I see that he has peeled about 40 cloves of garlic.
"Babe, whatcha doin?"
"peeling garlic."
"That's a lot of garlic you got there."
"Yeah, the recipe called for 3 cloves."
So I pick up 3 cloves out of the 40 he's peeled so far.
"Here you go."
"What's this?"
"It's 3 cloves."
"Why are you still peeling the garlic?"
"It said it needs 3 cloves."
"Babe...this is a clove. I think you're peeling 3 BULBS!!!"
"What's the difference?"
So to go back to your question, I think 3-5 CLOVES should suffice.
