Patchogue/Medford School District?
Anyone have any reviews on that location? We are starting our home hunting search in the next few days and we have seen a few areas we are interested in seeing the houses, just don't know much about PatMed. Any info is great

I have a friend who grew up there but then she was somewhat disappointed in the system when sending her kids there. They go to a private school now. This was just one person's experience, so I am not going to debate whether they are good or bad schools.

I went to school there but graduated 10 yrs. ago. The area has changed a lot but supposably the school district is still decent. I dont know that I would send my kids to Pat-Med for a variety of reasons.

Comparable to other districts in the area, but b/c of budgetary issues a few years ago, they may offer a few less activities/clubs/courses at the high school level. I don't know anything about the elem. schools.
