Pavers...again

We have to pick the pavers for our walkway this week (like I don't have enough going on right now Chat Icon ). We were told we could use Cambridge or Nicolock....

Is there any difference? Is one better than the other?

Thanks!

We have Cambridge(you can see part in the BBQ post). 3 years and they still look great!

We used Glen-Gery bricks. They were pretty pricey (about 3 times more than nicolock) but we were told that they are top of the line. If you ask me, I think they are all the same. But what do I know? Chat Icon

we were told to stay away from Nicolock by our paver company. We have Cambridge and they are perfect!

we were told they arent as good of quality as Cambridge (or other companys) and that they tend to chip and fade over time.

Re: Pavers...again

I was told that one company (not sure if it was cambridge or nicolock) has the color throughout the entire brick so that over time there is no fading or color discoloration. The other only has the color added to the top portion of the brick so in time the coloring will fade and change due to traffic and weathing.

They are coming today at 10am to do our pavers. So excited - We are getting the walk done, a round stoop, and flower bed wall done

Re: Pavers...again

They showed up at 11, and have already began chopping up the cement - They are also going to bring me top[soil to fill in my flowerbeds, and they are going to remove all 6 trees that I want removed in my backyard
