Paying someone to clean your house
Now that christmas is over I wanted to get someone in my home to clean before the new years has anyone done this about how much does it cost

We have someone come every two weeks for $60. We have a 3 bedroom townhouse in Melville and they clean all but two bedrooms.

I have an over 4000sq ft house.. 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large formal living room, 2 family rooms and a finished basement. Altogether we have 12 rooms in the house. My cleaning lady charges me $120 every other week ($240 per month)

We have a 3BR, 2BA house and our current lady cleans it like a champion! She charges $90 every two weeks.
We recently fired the previous girl - she charged $85 and only vacuumed/mopped when "she felt like it". 
Where do you live? I think that will make a big difference in the estimates you receive. Also, we received estimates from some cleaning agencies and were amazed at how expensive they were. it's much cheaper to go the private route, IMO.

We pay someone to come in once a week $100 even. She is incredible though.... does ironing, laundry, windows, will play with my dd when I need her to, etc. Hmm, I probably should give her a raise, now that I think about it..
