Dr. Adesman is part of the Pediatric Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics division of Schneiders and LIJ>
Spoke with them yesterday, the next available appointment is October and for me they do not take my insurance so it would cost $525-675.
I am trying to get an appointment with Dr. Jack Levine.. We have been playing phone tag.. between recs here and ouside recs, I think I can get an appintment with him much quicker...

Not sure if Dr. Levine is the same Dr I am thinking about. Our PED recommended him 1st. I believe he is the Chairman on the NY Board of Developmental and behavioral. He only takes a few insurances (the Gold/Platinum kind) which most people do not have. Maybe you are talking about another Dr. Levine

He does not take many ins but I am willing to pay out of pocket to see him. I am hoping the wait time is shorter due to this. He has an office in Great neck.

dr. jack levine is my dr. and it's very easy to get an appointment. he's in a practice with 3 other dr's that are regular peds. (i see dr. goldstein too.) he's my sons regular dr. since birth, it just worked out that he was a dev. ped..
the practice has taken all 3 insurances i've had in the past 2 yrs. and they are by no means "gold standard" insurances.
