Pediatric Immediate Care - Lindenhurst
DH and I just came from our consult there. Does anyone here go there? Any opinions? The waiting room seemed like a zoo, and the sick/ well rooms are not really separate rooms, but I don't know if that matters. Any info/ experience would be great!. TIA!

Yes! I go there. Just had DS on 12/30 and my friend recommended the place to me.
With a newborn, you never have to wait in the waiting area.......they set you up in a room upon arrival. So far they've been very good with us.
I've been there about 4 times so far and have not had any issues at all. I also love the fact that they have such great hours and do a lot of stuff in office that you may normally need to go to the ER for. One of the nurses also told me they often decide to keep the office open a lot later on weekends and such if there is a need due to sick kids.
Oh, another thing---even though the waiting room has looked like a zoo several times, we are always in and out within the hour. Absolutely no waiting around ever (ie. they set us up in the room, the nurse comes in, and within 5 minutes the doctor comes in, does an exam, sits with us, answers our questions and we are on our way). I think this is because there are several doctors on at one time as well.
You can also choose a primary doctor as well.
