Pediatrician in Holbrook area
Does anyone have or could recommend some pediatrician around the Holbrook area. I know so many of them in the Commack area...but wanted to find someone closer to home!! Starting to research this now! TIA!

I can tell you someone not to use. When DD#1 was born we went to Dr Melman and Dr Siddiq in Holbrook on Broadway and were very unhappy. The sick and well room situation was horrible, they waiting room was filthy, they had toys that sick kids could use, put in their mouth etc. You had to at least walk through the sick room. They had DD listed as a boy for months even after I corrected them. They doctors were not warm and fuzzy with DD at all. When I finally left after 6-7 months I found out at the new Dr. she was months behind in her shots and she was only a few months old. They also gave her Prevnar without me signing the consent(it was optional & a debated shot at the time). Totally illegal!
I would not go there if it were free!

ITA! they were actually recommend to us and I switched and woudl never recommedn them to anyone else. In fact not only did I switch but my co-worker did too. she was not happy either.
