Pediatrician Search
How are you girls doing with your pediatrician search?
I need to begin... and am not sure where to start.
I don't know anyone in my area with kids (I just moved) so I have to do this kind of blindly... and I'm nervous since I know I need to intervew them and this just seems so weird to me.
How are you girls going about it?

My doctor said I could bring in my insurance book and she would go through them and recommend. I am also asking everyone I know with kids. Good luck.

I am using the guy that took over the practice of my old pediatrician. My brothers go to him and they really like him. He is in Fresh Meadows.

the woman who is running my prenatal class (L&D nurse at my hospital) is helping me with recommendations. i don't have anyone to ask either.

I don't know anyone in the area either. I am using the ped in town and she is also a member of our parish
I am not interviewing her because it just seemed weird to me. I will figure out if I like her when the baby is born.

I am in the same town as you and don't know who to choose....at lamaze tonight the nurse from L&D is helping us make a choice

I'm in Westbury and had no idea who to choose. My block has a lot of young families on it, so I asked a couple of the neighbors and they all recommended the same group. We have used them now in the hospital after Alex was born and for two well-visits now, and they are wonderful! Word of mouth recommendations are usually good!
