Pediatricians in Lindenhurst/Babylon/West Islip Area
Hello, I am 30 weeks pregnant and I was hoping someone might be able to help me find a pediatrician in the Lindenhurst/Babylon/West Islip area. I just moved here a year ago, so I don't even know where to start. Thanks for any input!

We use Dr. Grello in Babylon, he & his brother are right off 231 on Montauk Hwy. We really like him; he's personable, answers any q's; we get appts when we need to & I know many girls on the boards use them. You can do a search.

My BF uses Dr. Wolletsky in West Islip...I"m also going to use him - my DH knows him and likes him and another friend switched to him when she moved to West Islip.

Hi! I use Pediatric Immediate Care which is on Sunrise in Lindenhurst right next to the town hall in the Zwanger Pesiri bldg. I LOVE them!!! They are open every weeknight until 11 and are open until about 3 or 4 on the weekends. Everytime I need to be seen, they get me in right away (i.e. within 1-2 hours) and there's rarely a wait. (The waiting room may look crowded but it's an illusion). I think the practice has about 5 doctors and the PA is awesome too. I am going through "formula issues" right now and they've given me a ton of free samples and have been on the insurance company to try to get it covered for me for free.
They do most of the stuff one would have to be seen for in the ER right there. Also everything is all "up to date" and computerized. They have access to the children's records from anywhere since it's computerized. I've always had one of their doctors call me back right away when needed and they are also part of all the major children's hospitals in the area.

Woletsky/Zanolin right in West Islip across the street from Good Sam. They are wonderful. Woletsky was my ped when I was little.

I used to see him too! In fact, I remember when he first took the practice over from Dr. McManus...did I just date myself? lol
In any event, I've heard that the practice is still great, so I'll probably be using them as well...

I second Pediatric Immediate Care. My SIL takes my nephew there and my little sisters still go there. My mom raves about them. And you can't beat their hours for a pediatrician.
