Re: peg preggo skate stroller
I've got the Skate stroller/car seat combo. I love it because: -it moves so well (easy to get in/out doors with one hand) -it folds so easily -the forward facing is great (now I hate strollers that where I can't see baby) -it seems strange but because of the wheels it's very quiet -it's comfortable if you're taller because of the different handle positions -the carriage seems very comfortable for newborns (for a while it was the only place DD would sleep) and easily converts to the stroller seat
I hate it because: -the fabric gets caught as you buckle the baby into the car seat -I had the buckle break on the car seat (where you snap the baby in) -I had the frame bend (it is currently being replaced)
I'm indifferent about their customer service. The first issue they responded promptly and appropriately. The second issue they weren't much help. The nearest service center is in Queens or the Bronx. You have to have your receipt and it is only under warranty for one year. I feel like for the cost there should be no problems with it.
Hope that helps you make a decision.

I have the bugaboo and I LOVE it. The only thing that is a bit of a pain is that you have to take the seat off to fold it. It doesn't bother me so much but I know that is a concern for other people who are considering it... I have no complaints.

Re: peg preggo skate/uppa baby vista/buggaboo stroller
I have the UppaBaby Vista and love it. The things i like better about it than the bugaboo is that it has a very large basket, and it can be collapsed with the toddler seat still attached as opposed to having to take it apart to collapse it like the bugaboo. It also comes with the rain shield and the bug shield (with the Bugaboo, you have to buy it separately). The Bugaboo has a lot better colors though!
One thing I don't love about it is that it is fairly wide - I wind up hitting the wheels into things when I'm in stores with narrow aisles. It's possible that is the case with the bugaboo too, but it's the one thing I don't like about the stroller. OTherwise, I love it!
Good luck!

Not to complicate things but I have a Quinny Buzz4 and I really like except for the fact that its wide.

I know you didnt ask about the Peg Perego Pliko Switch but....I got it and LOVE it. I literally am in LOVE with it.... Check it out on youtube!I think the cons with the Skate are it weighs alot, like 30+ lbs.

Re: peg preggo skate/uppa baby vista/buggaboo stroller
I have the Bugaboo and I like it a lot. Admittedly the 2 piece fold can be annoying however I think the pros outweight the cons. IMO the two piece fold is the Bugaboo's biggest and one of it's only flaws....the other being the bumper bar which IMO is hard to remove. I wish it had the option to swing out like the Quinny Buzz. Instead you have to remove the entire bumper bar so I just never use it.
My BFF has the Uppa and she likes it alot however I have pushed her stroller and the Bugaboo has a nicer push IMO. The Uppababy has a huge basket but it's wide and kind of bulky even with the new narrow wheels. Thats JMO though.
I have also owned the Quinny Buzz 3 which is really nice but the push with a toddler was heavier than with the Bugaboo so I sold it and stuck with my Bug.
The Bugaboo just glides...it's effortless to push. The Cameleon has a nice big seat (2 inches bigger than the Frog) so it will last longer.
I've never had the Skate but I hear it's heavy. They are supposed to be coming out with a new lighter Version called the Skate elite but it's been delayed.
The Switch is also a good option if you just want the stroller for the option of the baby facing you but I don't think that the push on the Switch can compare to the Bugaboo. I have the Peg Perego Pliko P3 (basically the same as the switch but with only a forward facing seat) and thought I love it for what it is...it does not even come close to handling as nice as my Bug.
If you are concerned about the 2 piece fold on the Bugaboo Frog, Cam and Gecko check out the Bugaboo Bee. I heard that it pushes awesome and has some great features. Try going to a big baby stroller store like Buy Buy Baby or Albee Baby in the city. Albee also carrys the Teutonias which are supposed to be great strollers. Good Luck!

I just saw the Switch the other day. I wish they had it when I first had DD - I totally would get it. It's great!

Re: peg preggo skate/uppa baby vista/buggaboo stroller
mom has the peg perego centro as a 2ndary stroller for DS.... we just assembled it and it looks pretty nice. DS looks comfy in it.... (we got a total bargain! $99 ) medium weight, and medium size... good padding and reasonable maneuverability... and a handle bar (I detest those umbrella handles for a stroller!)
DS's primary stroller is a bumbleride indie... it's BIG, and pretty heavy... but man is it a nice stroller... and DS loves it.

Re: peg preggo skate/uppa baby vista/buggaboo stroller
I LOVE my Bugaboo Chameleon. Very easy to use, rides like a DREAM!!! A PP menioned that they don't come witha rain sheild or mosquito netting. I'm not sure about the Frog but the CHameleon comes standard with a rain shield and mosquito netting.
I didn't like the Peg Perrego Skate when I tested it, it was flimsy, heavier and much more difficult to assemble.

Re: peg preggo skate/uppa baby vista/buggaboo stroller
I have the BOB Revolution and LOVE it! Its awesome - so smooth on city sidewalks or any bumpy roads and at the park it glides right over the grass and rocks.
Two of my friends that had other strollers just sold them on Craig's List and got BOBs after taking walks with me and seeing how much smoother the ride was. The strollers they sold were the Bugaboo and the Quinny.
