Pen exploded in our dryer
 Yes gonna kill DH for leaving it in his pocket, but, also mad at myself for not checking pockets..
Any idea how we can get the ink out?
I tried hot water and magic eraser..
Any other recommendations?

BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!
Many products are flammable and when you turn the dryer on again you may get a FIRE!!! HAIRPSRAY is flammable.
Weird coincidence, this was on the HBO show "Big Love" last week or the week before.
I'd call the manufacturer 800 number and ask them what they suggest.

YES!! DO NOT TRY HAIRSPRAY, OR ANY OTHER FLAMMABLE SUBSTANCE!!!! COULD TOTALLY CAUSE A FIRE!!

That has happened to me a dozen times b/c DH left pens in his pants pockets. And stained his clothes!!
I've learned from now on, to always check them, but to be honest, NOTHING gets Ink out and I've tried everything to get these stains out.......
If I did it right away, it may fade just slightly, but never got it out totally. Espeically when in the dryer, the dryer pretty much sets the ink in the material.  
But, hey, if you can find something that totally did the trick, please share!!!

Whast about using oxy clean on stain of the clothes and using Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for the dryer??
Make sure the dryer is cooled off.
