People that don't have little kids - how do you get them to "understand"?
Over the weekend we had family come to visit from OOT but they stayed with my Mom.
Well, DH and I both work FT but opposite schedules, so one of us is always with DS most of the time. We are both EXHAUSTED. DS is not a sleeper, so we are both "on" all of the time when we are home.
Well, family member just uploaded photos on FB and deleted all pics of me and my son from the album. Obviously they were offended I didn't spend more time with them. But I am literally a WALKING ZOMBIE. I can barely function at work.
I don't know what to say to them to make this better... Maybe their kids were / will be great sleepers, but mine is NOT and I just can't put on a happy face after getting 3.5 hours sleep and needing to go to work the next day!
I swear, it is things like this that make me want to delete FB.
ETA: Sorry this is so long...

Honestly if it were me I wouldn't say a word and just let it go. It probably isn't the best thing to do, but I really feel that some people really cannot empathize, especially about life with children. It is really tough to understand what life with a child is if you have never experienced it.
So when people without kids get upset over something I have to do/cannot do (etc.) because I have children I just tend to think "they'll understand someday" and move on.

i have some friends just like this, who just don't seem to get it... and there's not too much i can do to get across what my life is like...
deleting your pics off FB is a very passive aggressive thing to do. if i were you i wouldn't even acknowledge it... i would let it go.
you have to do what you have to do to survive in these early years with your kids... if people don't understand, that's their problem...

Ok-am I understanding this correctly, she took pictures this weekend and then deleted pictures of you and your son? Is it possible the pictures didn't come out nicely and she didn't want them up b/c she thought you'd get upset?
I know I've deleted pictures of people b/c they just aren't flattering.
But if she deleted pictures of you that she already had up, well that is just passive agressive and silly and you really should just ignore it

Without knowing the history, I would think she isn't posting photos of your children without your permission - which is a good thing IMO.
