People that rent in a private home, do you tip for the holidays??

Do you tip garbage men, mailmen??

We feel bad because our landlady does not. So lat year we gave them each a little something and made sure to write our name and first floor apartment. There are three other apartments on the property and no one else does, so we make sure we sign from us only!!
