People who know sizing??
I just got measured for a bridesmaid dress; I am (not afraid to share!)
34, 26, 38. I measured a 4. I'm looking for a gown for something else and on Bluefly, a 38 hip is a size 10!!! Is Bluefly just odd?? Is a 38 huge? I have big thighs from ballet but man, that just really made me feel.....gross.
Okay, and J Crew lists 34 and 26 as small and 38 as medium. I am officially ignoring BlueFly!

Don't feel bad! I don't know much about sizing but if it makes you feel any better, when I got measured for my wedding dress, my waist and chest measured for a 4, but my hips measured for a 8 - I was an athlete for years and also still have muscular thighs.
The "nice" woman who measured me says "Wow, you look so thin, but you have deceivingly large hips!" Thanks

aw! Geez......
I guess I am 38 in the hips! I just called my mom and asked if she had the folder from my wedding gown so I could compare! Of course, she doesn't have it. She goes, "You aren't a 38!" I'm like..mom, she measured!
