People who live near Lake Ronkonkoma...
On Portion road going towards Smithtown... there's some pizza place I keep forgetting to write the name of down. It's got a huge lit neon sign out front and I think it's the name of the place with an Italian guy.
It always looks jumping when I drive by.
Do you know the place I'm talking about?
Is it any good?

Little Vinny's. Some people swear it's the best. It's good...but we don't go there we go to Mama Mia's on Hawkins.

We go to Ginos, because they deliver. And, personally i do think its better than little vincents. My dh would disagree.

I like the pizza better at Little Vincent's, but Gino's has AMAZING garlic knots! Little Vincent's doesn't make knots.

Its either Ginos or little vincents. Little vincents is by the light on portion and rosedale Ginos is further east on portion. Both are very yummy.

Little Vinny's is also in Huntington. It is great because it is open super late. Also, ask to get a slice with cold cheese on it, it makes it so much better!

Personally, I love Little Vincent's BUT how annoying is it that they don't make knots??? I mean, come one! And cash only?
Yea, Gino's east on Portion is really good too - they make a mean Sicilian!

I never had Little Vincent's but Gino's is definitely good!
Try Z's pizza on Rosevale Avenue (exit 59 north off the LIE turns into Rosevale and it's on the left side). They make some great pizza! Especially sicilian.
The address is 404 Rosevale Avenue.

I don't think Little Vincent's is as good as it used to be years ago.

I love Little Vincents except for the fact that they don't make Sicilian Pizza. They're all really nice in there, too!

Re: People who live near Lake Ronkonkoma...
Its consistently voted best pizza on LI, but you have to like your pizza thin and crispy....which I do.
Those who said its just eh.....youre all going to hell now.

If you go to look up Ginos and cant find one on Portion, its bc in Nesconset, its not Portion anymore, its Smithtown Blvd.

That's a different one. There is a Gino's just east of Hawkins Ave on Portion Rd.

Now this is just awesome. Something about the cold cheese melting on the hot pizza....so darn tasty!!!

I have been going to Gino's for 20 years.
Little Vinny's is good too, though.
